ABOUT THE ROLE:


The Student Onboarding Manager is responsible for ensuring that applicants to our bootcamps are set up and prepared for starting their bootcamp before there is a handover to the Delivery team.

This person works closely with the Admissions Operations Analyst to ensure there is accuracy around student's that have to be onboarded.

There is also a close collaboration with Product/Engineering to ensure the students' dashboards are set up and ready to go by the bootcamp start date.

The Student Onboarding Manager then also provides support to Delivery and Student Success should there be any issues around the onboarding or with anything that prohibits the student from starting their bootcamp.

There will also be ongoing support around the student dashboard to ensure the student has the best possible experience.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Upgrade dashboards by running the relevant scripts, and ensure that any issues that prohibit the student(s) from starting are dealt with timeously with support from Product and engineering.
  • Represent Admission Ops within the product to drive any changes or fixes required to the onboarding process.
  • Manage and report on data related to onboarding, including student feedback and success metrics.
  • Arrange and manage onboarding sessions for all bootcamp cohorts.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in the onboarding process and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to the onboarding process.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training programs related to the onboarding process.

REQUIREMENTS:

_Minimum_:

  • 2+ years of experience in a related role, such as student onboarding, customer onboarding, project management, or similar.
  • Experience working with crossfunctional teams, such as admissions, delivery, product, and engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

_Preferred_:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a related role, such as student onboarding, customer onboarding, project management, or similar.
  • Experience working in a startup environment or similar fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant software tools and platforms, such as project management software, CRM, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience managing and developing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and implement process improvements.
