You will be responsible to the Financial Manager and sales representative of Kazin Trading.

You will be required to comply with instructions regarding duties assigned to you and perform such duties faithfully and to the best of your ability.

The following duties are to be completed for the Kazin Group, which currently includes Kazin Trading 5 CC and McVitty Development (Pty) Ltd and Ashwood Hardware (Pty) Ltd:

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT:

  • Assist with daily HR functions and clerical support.
  • Compile / update employee records.
  • Maintain records of start and end dates for contract workers and ensure new contracts are issued timeously before the old contracts expire / probation period lapses.
  • Coordinate HR projects and take minutes.
  • Handle employee requests regarding HR issues. Assist with payroll preparation.
  • Handle complaints and grievance procedures.
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
  • Assist applicable management with the preparation of the internal/external advertisement.
  • Schedule disciplinaries and maintain disciplinary records.
  • Adherence to APSO regulations and processes, BCEA and LRA Legislation and Company SOP at all times.
  • Develop / review policies, procedures and manuals and ensure legal compliance.
  • Provide HR system guidance and handle induction and probation
  • Any other required administration tasks required for the recruitment process.

OFFICE MANAGEMENT:

  • Keep the office in a tidy and clean state by managing the employee tasked with cleaning the office;
  • Maintain sufficient stationery, cleaning products and tools necessary to run the office;
  • Task the employee who cleans the office to "spring" clean cupboards, fridge, microwave every so often;
  • Keep the office in a presentable state for customers;
  • Keep filing up to date and ensure all desks are kept in a presentable condition;
  • Help walk in customers with product orientation and provide them with a price list.
  • Send Unit Movements on behalf of the Sales Representative when not in the office.
  • Take down all customer details so that the Sales Representative can easily provide the potential client with a quotation when they return to the office.
Assisting the Sales Representative, Process Engineer or CFO with admin related tasks.

GENERAL:

  • Create a key tag for each unit coming out of production and ensure each unit has 2 keys;
  • Create and repair Excel spreadsheets needing an upgrade.
  • Perform any other task assigned to you.

Salary:
R12, R14,000.00 per month
