Description

A position has become available for a Receiving and Dispatch Clerk based at our Kempton Park Depot. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all despatches are executed promptly and efficiently in line with customer requirements and to ensure that all goods received are by quantities as specified on delivery notes and in line with laid down quality parameters.

Responsibilities:

Assists with Route Planning and capturing of Delivery Manifests Assists with loading of vehicles Assists with delivery manifest/POD debriefing Assists with contacting of COD clients prior delivery Assists with receiving of stock from main Warehouse and other distribution sites Assist with retail returns

General

Performs any other tasks as directed by the Dispatch Controller or Distribution Site Supervisor / Depot Manager Ensures that cages, gates and all other access routes and entrances to the warehouse are secured and controlled at all times. Assists fellow workers with execution of tasks whenever own responsibilities have been executed and completed. Ensures that area of responsibility is neat, tidy, organised and clean at all times. Assists with and adheres to security measures ensuring the safety of products and facility. Assits with preparation of warehouse/s for bi-annual stock take including required documentation Act responsibly and professionally at all times, fostering goodwill and a positive image for the Company.

Requirements:

Matric Warehouse diploma (added advantage) Computer literacy 3 years relevant Receiving and Dispatch experience
