Description

Receiving Manager – is responsible for organizing deliveries, storage and dispatches of goods in warehouses.

Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security. Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met. Processing orders. Implementing operational policies and procedures. Motivating and disciplining staff. Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security

Requirements

Leadership skills and ability manage staff Strong decision making and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time. Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures. Proficient knowledge of inventory. Available to work extended hours. Team player Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work
