THE ROLE

As the head of engineering, you will be responsible for defining and executing the technical roadmap, while spearheading the design, development, and optimization of platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will need a deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices, with hands-on experience in backend and frontend development.

Overall, as the head of engineering, your comprehensive understanding of software architecture, coupled with your proficiency in the specified tech stack, will empower you to drive the design, development, and optimization of this omnichannel ecommerce platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

THE REQUIREMENTS

At least 8 years of software development experience, with 5 years of management experience

Proven experience in software development and technical leadership roles, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern development frameworks/tools.

Agile Development experience is a must

Languages: C# / Go / Python, JavaScript, SQL

Frameworks: .NET, .NET Core, Angular, React,

ORM Tools: Entity Framework, Hibernate

Relational Databases: Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL

Cloud Environments: Azure, AWS

Messaging/Event: Kafka
