Hire Resolve's client is a leading IT consulting firm that is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer to join their team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients, ensuring that their IT systems and infrastructure are running smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring software and hardware, and assisting in various IT-related projects. You will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure the highest level of customer service and support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
  • Install and configure software and hardware.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Assist in IT-related projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to resolve IT issues.
  • Adhere to IT policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the field of IT support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Network+
    • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
    • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundation
  • 5-8 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk roles, or system administration.
  • Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
  • Knowledge of remote desktop applications and VPN
  • Familiarity with mobile device support, including iOS and Android devices.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and basic malware removal.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to assist end-users effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Patience and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
