What you’ll achieve
As a Sales Representative Healthcare IT , you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Dedalus' cutting-edge healthcare information technology solutions across the region. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and capitalize on opportunities within the South African healthcare market, promoting Dedalus' suite of products and services to hospitals, clinics, healthcare networks, and other relevant stakeholders. By leveraging your expertise in healthcare IT and your understanding of the local market dynamics, you will contribute to the growth and success of Dedalus in South Africa.
You will:
Market Penetration and Growth:
Identify and target key accounts and market segments within the South African healthcare industry to expand Dedalus' presence and market share. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive sustainable business growth.Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-maker influencers, and stakeholders at prospective and existing client organizations. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges, and proposing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.Product Promotion and Demonstration:
Showcase Dedalus' comprehensive portfolio of healthcare IT solutions, including electronic health records (EHR), clinical information systems, telemedicine platforms, and analytics tools, among others. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to highlight the features, benefits, and value propositions of Dedalus' offerings.Consultative Selling:
Conduct in-depth needs assessments and analyses to understand the specific requirements and pain points of potential clients. Collaborate with Dedalus' technical and implementation teams to develop customized solutions that address client needs and deliver tangible outcomes.Sales Cycle Management:
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closure. Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, monitor pipeline progress, and generate accurate forecasts.Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape in the South African healthcare IT market.Provide insights and recommendations to Dedalus leadership based on market intelligence to refine sales strategies and enhance competitiveness.

Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management, information technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience. Proven track record of success in healthcare IT sales, with a deep understanding of the South African healthcare landscape. Strong network of contacts within the South African healthcare industry, particularly among hospital administrators, IT decision-makers, and healthcare providers. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing sales plans to achieve targets and objectives. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools. Willingness to travel within South Africa as needed.We are Dedalus, come join us
