Spanish Accounts Payable Clerk (Real Estate)

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Spanish speaking Accounts Payable Clerk with experience in QuickBooks to join our finance team. This role is responsible for processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and some familiarity with accounting software, specifically QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, verify, and process invoices and purchase orders in QuickBooks
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
  • Prepare and schedule payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers, while ensuring timely processing
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files and records within QuickBooks
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve any billing issues or discrepancies
  • Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries regarding accounts payable
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks and accounts payable reports
  • Support the accounts payable team with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus)
  • 1+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role, with knowledge of QuickBooks preferred
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other accounting software or Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience in a junior accounts payable or finance-related role
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
