Job Title: External Sales Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated External Sales Administrator/ Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers. The role requires a proactive approach to identify sales opportunities, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers to maintain strong relationships and understand their evolving needs.
  • Present and demonstrate our client's products to customers, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product support.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery of products.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including activity logs, sales forecasts, and customer feedback.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an External Sales Representative or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Key salesperson
  • Deal with high end VIP customers, call customer, arrange deliveries, process orders
  • Fetch new business
  • Presentable and well spoken
  • Must have 5years sales experience
  • Ability to learn 6500 line items quickly (some of a technical nature)
  • Must be a serious go getter and high energy
  • Good organisational skills

Working hours: Full time permanent position

Area: Cape Town, office based in Woodstock.

Salary: R10 000-R16 000 (depending on experience) + tiered commission.
