The Talent Development Consultant for the development of digital learning content. This entails effectively articulating the learning requirements of business, alignment with digital standards and developing these within the parameters of the learning platform. This role may interface with other internal business stakeholders and training vendors

As the Talent Development Consultant (Learning Delivery), your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Collaborate with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify and obtain course content
  • Contribute to brainstorming/idea generation sessions
  • Support the design of curricula or programs for blended learning delivery (incl. F2F, Digital, etc.) aligned to the 5Di principle | ADDIE Model
  • Ensure SLAs are met
  • Effectively collaborate with business stakeholders and other roles in negotiating timelines whenever necessary
  • Deliver Face to Face and online learning interventions
  • Manage and co-ordinate learning interventions and academies
  • Manage external learning delivery partners
  • Coach and/or mentor within your domain when required
  • Ensure learning records and data remains updated
  • Produce monthly learning reports
  • Remain abreast of emerging trends and technologies in all areas of learning, incl. digital
  • Provide input into internal processes and digital methodology to aid continuous improvement
  • Provide internal QA and peer review where applicable

Additional ad-hoc responsibilities based on resource needs, could include to:

  • Assist the Talent Development team and broader People Shared Services according to resource needs (valley periods, emergencies, projects)

To apply you need to have:

  • A training qualification in either ETDP related Qualification (essential) or Instructional Design
  • More than 5 years’ proven working experience in Learning and Development field
  • At least 3+ years’ experience in digital learning environment preferred
  • Able to effectively co-ordinate and manage projects
  • Excellent facilitation, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and high-quality standards
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • A willingness to learn and a focus on continuous improvement
  • A passion for storytelling
  • Ability to give and receive feedback effectively
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a bigger team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly pressurised and deadline driven environment
  • Passionate about the user experience/customer service
