Senior Travel Consultant

Location: Cape Town Hout Bay

Salary: Competitive annual salary (in Rand - R)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and personalized travel solutions to clients.
  • Manage client accounts, including understanding their travel needs and preferences.
  • Research, plan, and book a range of travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, and tours.
  • Stay updated on travel trends, destination updates, and industry regulations.
  • Assist clients in resolving travel-related issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and industry partners.
  • Utilize travel booking systems effectively to provide accurate pricing and solutions.
  • Deliver training and mentorship to junior travel consultants as needed.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using travel reservation systems and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Desired Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in travel consulting or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in booking domestic and international travel.
  • Familiarity with various travel destinations, cultures, and customs.
  • Proven track record in customer satisfaction and sales achievement.
