Adventure Travel Consultants

Our Head Offices are in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, UK.

We are looking for Adventure Travel Consultants based in Cape Town, South Africa, to expand our range of walking and cycling holidays there and then plan them for the clients, post booking.

The role is full or part time, to suit needs hours per week (across 4 or 5 days) with flexibility - including some weekends

We love adventures and we take great pride in helping our customers experience the great outdoors and challenge themselves. We achieve this through our fantastic office and guiding team and we are looking for someone brilliant to join us.

We specialise in offering adventurous trips throughout the UK, Europe and the World. Whether it's walking, trekking, climbing, cycling, skiing or sailing, our trips are aimed at people who want an adventure and something a bit different. And we offer an exceptional personal service to make that happen. Our travel planners liaise daily with participants and suppliers to plan and execute the delivery of their events.

We now want to expand our range in the southern hemisphere.

You will:

  • Have a keen interest in as well as experience of travel and walking/cycling activities or holidays
  • Have a strong focus on exceptional customer experiences and so you will be an highly approachable, personable, articulate and confident person.
  • Be numerate, have great attention to detail and honed planning skills
  • Be able to use Excel and ICT comfortably
  • Have worked successfully with challenging deadlines
  • Be able to demonstrate how you are able to communicate credibly on the telephone and via e-mail
