Business Development Engineer

Position Overview:
The Business Development Engineer will bridge the gap between technical solutions and market needs. The ideal candidate combines engineering knowledge with strong commercial acumen, is capable of identifying new business opportunities, manages client relationships, and supports technical proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in targeted markets
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessments
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and tenders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solutions for clients
- Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and sales planning
- Track, report, and analyze sales metrics and business performance
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events
- Contribute to product development and service improvement initiatives based on customer feedback
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field)
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively
- Experience in sales, marketing, or business development (advantageous but not always required)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet business targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
