With over 35 years in the logistics industry, Aviocean has built a strong reputation in freight forwarding and customs clearance across South Africa and globally. We are now seeking target driven Business Development Managers / Sales Executives to join our passionate sales team in the Durban area.

This role is perfect for someone who understands the competitive logistics landscape and thrives on building relationships that drive business growth.

What we are looking for:


• Proven experience developing new business in clearing and forwarding


• Strong knowledge in airfreight import and export operations


• Ability to identify, target and secure new clients in key trade sectors


• Skilled in rate negotiations, tender submissions and closing deals


• Experience preparing proposals and delivering client presentations


• Established network within the logistics and supply chain industry (advantageous)


• Understanding of customs processes, Incoterms and global trade requirements


• Strong CRM discipline and pipeline management


• Tertiary education in a related field (Logistics / Supply Chain / Business)


• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills


• Own vehicle and valid drivers licence


• Proactive, results focused mindset with strong accountability


• Successful ITC and criminal record checks will be required Not sure if I must include.

• Grow and maintain a strong client portfolio


• Identify new opportunities and expand market presence
