The Baruk Group have a strong history in the property sector where it bult its property portfolio for the past 2 decades and is now at the forefront of transforming and pioneering the critically needed ultra-high security infrastructure for heavy commercial vehicles along all major routes throughout South Africa and soon the rest of Africa for its mostly blue-chip clientele.

The Role: Become an Extension of the CEO
In this pivotal position, you'll work directly alongside our CEO, acting as their trusted confidante and operational powerhouse. Over time, you'll evolve into someone who anticipates needs, finishes sentences, and drives initiatives with seamless precision. You'll start by shadowing and training with his current assistant, gaining insider knowledge to hit the ground running.
This role demands flexibility—working hours may extend to meet strategic demands or fluctuate based on operational needs. You'll also handle highly sensitive and confidential executive-level information related to the Group and its stakeholders, requiring the utmost discretion and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
As a high-level Executive Assistant in one of South Africa's most progressive companies, your scope will be broad and influential, touching every aspect of executive operations, strategy, and global expansion. Here's an expanded view of what you'll own and drive:
• Executive Support and Partnership: Serve as the CEO's primary extension, attending high-stakes meetings, capturing key insights, and delegating instructions on their behalf to ensure flawless execution across teams. You'll anticipate needs, provide real-time advice, and become indispensable in decision-making processes.
• Strategic Coordination and Project Management: Oversee complex projects from inception to completion, including research, analysis, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This could involve preparing briefing materials, tracking progress on strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment with company goals during our aggressive expansion.
• Logistics and Travel Management: Handle intricate travel arrangements, including international itineraries, visas, accommodations, and event logistics for the CEO and key team members. Coordinate and manage the CEO's personal aircraft, schedule flights with pilots and manage operational aspects of the aircraft. You'll optimize schedules to maximize efficiency, often coordinating multi-country trips with precision.
• Communication and Relationship Management: Draft and manage high-level correspondence,
presentations, and reports. Build and nurture relationships with top executives, partners, and influencers, scheduling calls, meetings, and networking events to foster business opportunities.
• Operational Efficiency: Streamline daily operations by managing calendars, prioritizing
tasks, and implementing systems to enhance productivity. This includes overseeing administrative workflows, vendor relations, and resource allocation to keep the executive team running like a well-oiled machine.
• Research and Intelligence Gathering: Gather and communicate financial, and performance
dashboards indicating critical company performance, progress on specific transactions, important acquisitions and emerging opportunities, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Event and Meeting Orchestration: Plan and execute executive-level events, board meetings, and conferences, from venue selection to agenda setting and follow-up. Ensure seamless virtual and in-person experiences, including tech setup and participant coordination.
• Personal and Professional Development Support: Assist with personal errands when needed
to free up the CEO's focus, while also contributing to team training and knowledge transfer. As you grow, you'll mentor junior staff and take on increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Crisis and Ad-Hoc Management: Respond to urgent situations with composure, whether it's resolving logistical hiccups, managing confidential matters, or adapting to last-minute changes in a high-growth environment.

International experience or willingness to relocate is a bonus—we'll cover relocation for the right fit.
• Availability: Flexibility for varying hours, including evenings or weekends as business demands arise.
