About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Junior to Intermediate Project Coordinator to support our growing project portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project management principles and frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid) and hold a project management certification such as CAPM or equivalent.

You will work closely with the Enterprise Project Manager as their 2IC to ensure smooth project execution, documentation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project accounting, including tracking budgets, costs, and financial progress.
  • Create, maintain and update project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
  • Support project monitoring and control activities, including progress tracking, risk monitoring, and status reporting.
  • Create and maintain project presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across project activities.
  • Act as 2IC to the Enterprise Project Manager, providing administrative and operational support.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Project Management certification required (CAPM or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management frameworks.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a project coordination role.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, MS Projects, Smartsheet, or similar) is an advantage.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid model: Combination of remote and in-office work.
  • Must reside in Cape Town and be available to work from the office at least three days per week (Northern Suburbs).
  • Must be willing to attend in-person meetings as and when required.
