As the Retail Store Manager at CIOVITA Stellenbosch, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Stellenbosch Concept Store. You will lead a team of enthusiastic sales associates, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient store management, and driving business growth. This role requires a combination of managerial expertise, strategic thinking, and a genuine passion for cycling.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences.Maintain a deep knowledge of CIOVITA products, cycling technology, and industry trends to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.Ensure the store meets and exceeds sales targets through effective inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales techniques.Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and a culture of excellence.Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers, build brand loyalty, and maximise sales opportunities.Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.Monitor and analyse store performance, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to the regional management team.Manage daily store operations, opening and closing procedures, and adherence to company policies and procedures.Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities, events, and campaigns to drive footfall and sales.Work with the Sales team to sign on custom clients and provide a well-rounded explanation of how the canvas process works.

Required:

Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the cycling industry or a related field.Passion for cycling and a solid understanding of cycling products, technology, and trends.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers and staff.Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is desirable.
