Job Duties

  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, policies and standards
  • Manage a team of maintenance staff and contractors
  • Plan and oversee all maintenance activities including repairs, installations, and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitor equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
  • Manage maintenance budgets and control costs
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance work

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering or related field

Education
Degree in Engineering or related field

Experience
Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance management role

Knowledge And Skills

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Budget management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification in Maintenance Management
  • Experience in the travel, leisure, tourism, or hospitality industry

Working Conditions
This role involves working in an office environment as well as on-site visits to oversee maintenance activities. Some travel may be required.
