Our client is looking for an Area Manager to lead and grow operations in Rustenburg. The ideal candidate will manage customer relationships, ensure excellent service, and oversee the installation and maintenance of electronic safety equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead and manage teams working across different mine and industrial sites.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and make sure they are happy with the service.
  • Do regular site and branch checks to make sure all safety and company rules are followed.
  • Manage budgets, costs, and ensure the branch is profitable.
  • Keep risk and safety files updated and compliant.
  • Guide and support Account Managers and Superintendents.
  • Look for new business and growth opportunities in the region.
  • Keep operations running smoothly and improve processes where needed.

Requirements

  • Matric and a National Diploma in Engineering, Operations, or Business Management (Degree is a plus).
  • 5–8 years' experience in operations or field services, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Good knowledge of MHSA, OHSA, and site compliance.
  • Able to manage teams across multiple sites and work with budgets.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good computer skills (Excel and ERP systems).
  • Medically fit and able to travel to sites.
  • Valid driver's license.
