Role Description

This is a 3 month contract role for a System Engineer
, located on-site in the Pretoria Metropolitan Area. The System Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including systems engineering, troubleshooting, system administration, technical support, and systems design. The candidate will ensure that IT systems operate efficiently and effectively, providing necessary technical support to maintain and enhance system performance.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Systems Engineering and Systems Design
  • Proficient in Troubleshooting and Technical Support
  • Experience in System Administration
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco, are a plus
  • Must be currently employed and available for full-time placement.
  • A minimum of 3 years' field experience, including 2nd line support.
  • Certified in ITIL V4 Foundation.
  • Hold relevant Microsoft M365 certifications.
  • Dell Certified, with demonstrated experience supporting M365 environments.
  • Proven experience in supporting a Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM).
