What you will be doing: 
  • Coordinate daily financial operations with the Head of Finance
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly
  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, and ledger processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Support financial audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with cash flow and expense tracking
  • Improve compliance frameworks and internal controls
  • Support implementation of financial systems and procedures
What we are looking for: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Completed SAICA (AGA) or SAIPA articles
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and IFRS for SMEs
  • Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and financial controls
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
