What you will be doing: 
  • Develop strategies to improve cash flow and accounts receivable processes
  • Lead and support a team of debtors clerks
  • Establish and maintain credit policies and procedures
  • Monitor aging reports and implement collection strategies
  • Approve credit applications and limits
  • Conduct credit reviews to reduce risk
  • Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers
  • Resolve billing issues in collaboration with sales and operations
  • Prepare reports on receivables performance and trends
  • Stay informed on industry regulations and best practices
What we are looking for: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (advantageous)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in debtors management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Solid understanding of accounting and credit management
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel
  • Analytical skills for financial reporting and forecasting
  • Experience in logistics or transportation preferred
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
