Job Description

Growing family office with a diverse portfolio, including listed holdings, private equity, offshore investments, and philanthropic initiatives, looking for a Assistant Financial Manager.

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain financial processes, procedures, and controls across the group
  • Oversee short-term cash flow planning, including review and execution of bank transactions
  • Support long-term cash flow planning and treasury management, including engagement with banks
  • Compile and review monthly internal reports
  • Review annual financial statements and manage the audit process
  • Oversee outsourced accounting and secretarial functions to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage SARB exchange control reporting and applications
  • Execute and manage currency trades
  • Liaise with external advisors on tax, legal, exchange control, and accounting matters
  • Maintain insurance cover on major assets

What we are looking for:

  • CA(SA) / CIMA newly qualified
  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
