Role Description

This is a contract, remote role for an SAP Master Data Lead. The SAP Master Data Lead will oversee and manage master data activities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Work with the business to set up Master Data Governance Structures, master data ownership and controls, master data approval processes, and archiving strategies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing business processes involving SAP master data. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide consulting, support, and expertise to ensure seamless delivery of SAP solutions that align with business objectives.

Lead a business team in cleansing data in preparation for a SAP upgrade to S/4HANA.

Client-side role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in master data management and SAP Master Data Governance best practice models.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Master Data objects, creation rules, and impact on business processes
  • Consulting experience with the ability to advise and guide stakeholders on best practices in master data governance
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Systems, or related); advanced certifications in SAP are advantageous
  • Experience in SAP implementations and data integration projects is a plus
