Job Description

Responsible for managing and maintaining the full Master Data function of all entities on the ERP system. These include LSA., other African countries including other entities. Further value adding requirement by continuous process automation and improvement in the master data department



Duties & Responsibilities

·       Implementation and maintaining of standard policies, procedures and controls

·       Create, validate and maintain core master data - Customer Master, Vendor Master and Item Master

·       Maintain Sales Prices for new NPD's and for PI's

·       Maintain Deals/Promotion System and assist with support and training

·       Bar coding (EAN) maintenance

·       Monitor, measure and improve the quality of master data

·       Monitor and develop process flow procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness and proper validation of master data

·       Support all business areas to assist and understand shareholder requirements

·       Provide training and key user support on master data related structures to all Lactalis sites

·       Meeting of Audit and Corporate Governance requirements

·       Compliance to all relevant legislation

·       Cross-functional interaction (AA countries and SA sites, all HO departments)

·       Maintaining & improving relevant structures, processes, documentation and procedures within Master data

·       Full support with all new system implementations

·       Management of staff when relevant
