What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Product Designer (hybrid) to join our dynamic team at Meltwater. This fully remote role is ideal for someone who strives for best-in-class design, is deeply invested in user experience, and is eager to leverage GenAI technology to create intuitive, scalable digital products. You will play a pivotal role in shaping UX workflows and ensuring cohesive, modern interfaces across our platform, all while embracing a design system mindset.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to design iterations: Take direction from lead designers and actively contribute to refining concepts and workflows.
- Support UX workflows & UI design: Assist in designing and refining end-to-end workflows and visual user interfaces. Contribute to user-centered experiences that align with both user and business needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to ideate, prototype, and deliver impactful solutions.
- User Advocate: Supports and champions users needs within project work and UX improvements
- Champion design systems: Support and advocate for the evolution and consistency of our design system, ensuring scalable and maintainable UI components.
- Contribute user research & validation: Collaborate with our UX research team, engage in user interviews, usability testing, and data-driven validation to inform and iterate on your designs.
- Attention to detail: Assist in delivering visually consistent, pixel-perfect designs, and maintain high-quality interaction patterns across deliverables.
- Supports Quality: Participate in design reviews, testing, and ongoing quality checks to ensure flawless implementation and superior usability.
- Leverage GenAI tools: Utilize GenAI platforms such as V0, Lovable, Bolt, or Cursor to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and workflow automation.
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in Product Design (UI/UX) for enterprise-grade SaaS applications.
- Proficiency with Figma and modern design/prototyping tools.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI tools such as V0, Lovable, Bolt, or Cursor (preferred).
- Strong portfolio showcasing recent (last 1–2 years) digital product launches, with a focus on UX workflows.
- Experience in user research: Familiar with personas, mapping workflows, and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
- Proven communication skills: Able to clearly present and justify design decisions to stakeholders across disciplines.
- Collaborative mindset: Experience working closely with product and engineering teams to refine and implement designs.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Growth-oriented: Embraces feedback, continuous learning, and a passion for delivering best-in-class solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field.
- Bonus: Experience with React and third-party design system tools.
