Responsibilities

  • To perform all transactional activities for all Debtors and Creditors including, invoicing, checking, capturing, reconciliation, reporting, communication, capturing and correspondence.
  • Manage all creditor queries, receipts of payments done and prepare final recons for Financial Manager.
  • Payments - Receive/print all invoices from COD customers and sub-contractors, Check invoices against estimates and prices, Make sure all corrections are done, Capture all invoices, Scan and send proof of payments to all, Capture payments in cash book, Handle all queries.
  • Capturing of creditors invoices when received daily, print out immediately and create and print out new orders.
  • Sort out all creditor queries, receipts of payments done and prepare final recons for Financial Manager.
  • Capture payments in cash book, Complete credit applications, Do monthly reconciliations.
  • Assist financial team with the capturing of additional invoices and other administrative work required and responsible for various administrative services like groceries, housekeeping etc.
  • To perform ad hoc requests that may arise from Management.

Qualifications

  • NATIONAL SENIOR CERTIFICATE (GR12 - Matric – with Mathematics)
  • National Higher Diploma or 3-year Baccalaureus Degree in Financial and Business Management
  • Must have Valid and unrestricted Code EB Drivers License
  • Minimum 5 years active experience in the Financial Management Industry with strong creditors/debtor's background

  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and perform duties within the parameters as required by the Business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent computer skills, (Excel) and overall savings consciousness with the ability to continuously minimize cost and reduce wastages for the Business
  • Sound leadership, people and influencing skills with the ability to always maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders as a team player
