Finance Clerk

**Afrirent Logistics** is seeking a **Finance Clerk** to manage accounts receivable and payable. The role includes processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, handling customer billing, and administering petty cash for depots.

Minimum Requirements

**Education**:

- Matric (Grade 12)
- Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Office Administration

Ideal Qualifications (Advantageous):

- Pastel Partner Certification
- Intermediate Excel Certification

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting or in an accounts payable/receivable environment
- Fleet management knowledge will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities
- Capture and process supplier and customer invoices accurately and on time
- Prepare payment requests and ensure VAT compliance
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments and handle supplier queries
- Reconcile creditor and debtor accounts, ensuring accuracy of records
- Manage petty cash and submit weekly reconciliations
- Maintain an organised electronic and manual filing system for all financial documents
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and support financial reporting
