Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Sandown, Sandton for two Tender Administrators. In this role, you will be responsible for compiling, preparing, and submitting tender documents with precision and according to deadlines. Tasks include coordinating tender-related activities, verifying documentation and compliance requirements, liaising with internal teams and stakeholders, managing database systems, and tracking tender submissions. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy and update of relevant tender records while maintaining regular communication with suppliers and clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills to manage tender submissions, documentation, and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in data management and record-keeping systems, as well as experience with procurement processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders and clients professionally.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and an ability to follow strict compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prior experience in tender preparation and submission within construction or civil engineering sectors is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with tender management tools is beneficial.
  • A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement or a related field is preferred years of experience in a similar role within the construction, engineering.
  • Familiarity with tendering procedures for public and private sector projects.
