The Opportunity: Legal Adviser

To provide an efficient, effective, holistic professional legal service to support the Adcorp Group Legal Portfolio, business partners and stakeholders, and to ensure that Adcorp's legal interests are safeguarded and legal risk mitigated with regard to both internal and external parties. Responsibilities will include drafting and review of commercial contracts and negotiations associated therewith; litigation case management; providing sound legal advice in relation to, inter alia, the labour industry, assist with any due diligence process on the part of Adcorp, which could also include structuring and legal requirements during anticipated mergers and acquisitions and act as advisor to all contract managers / business partners / stakeholders within the various Adcorp business units and Group portfolios.

Legal Advisory & Risk Management

Provide sound legal advice across labour, commercial, and compliance matters while managing legal risk, due diligence, and M&A support. Stay updated on legislation, address complex compliance issues, and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Contracting, Governance & Documentation

Review, draft, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, templates, and governance documents. Oversee the company document repository, ensure policy compliance, maintain SharePoint records, and support internal reviews and approvals.

Stakeholder, Client & Vendor Engagement

Act as a legal liaison to internal teams, clients, suppliers, and external attorneys. Support sales and operational teams with contract insights, enable decision-making, and contribute to proposals while maintaining strong professional relationships.

Compliance, Monitoring & Reporting

Develop and implement compliance processes, monitor legal systems, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Manage reporting, training, audits, industry research, legal updates, and communication on issues impacting clients or the business

Desired Experience & Qualification

• LLB degree or Equivalent law degree;
• Admitted attorney or advocate (who has passed the Bar exam) with 3 years' experience
• Internal labour law experience, working with contracts draft and be able to negotiate various commercial agreements
• Labour Legislation, knowledge of Commercial contracts essential
• Experience in Labour Compliance and administration will be advantageous.
• Proven ability to communicate and maintain relationships with people on all levels within a company.
