About the Role

We are seeking experienced 
Enterprise Content Management Systems Administrators
 to support the design, implementation, optimisation, and governance of the organisation's ECM platforms. This role ensures secure, compliant, and efficient document management, workflow automation, and content lifecycle administration across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and optimise ECM platforms such as SharePoint, OpenText, or equivalent systems
  • Design ECM structures, metadata taxonomies, retention schedules, and content classification standards
  • Implement workflows, automation, and document lifecycle processes
  • Ensure compliance with information governance, security, POPIA, and retention policies
  • Support ECM integrations with enterprise applications and internal systems
  • Conduct system health checks, performance tuning, and usage analytics
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation on ECM functionality
  • Collaborate with business units to analyse requirements and implement structured content solutions
  • Manage ECM access control, permissions, and audit trails
  • Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and enhancement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Management, or related field
  • Certifications in ECM platforms (SharePoint, OpenText, etc.) preferred

Experience

  • 5+ years designing, deploying, and administering ECM systems
  • Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy design, content governance, and workflow automation
  • Experience integrating ECM with enterprise systems and applications
