Job Title: Warehouse & Operations Manager

We're looking for a highly experienced, detail-driven Warehouse & Operations Manager to take full ownership of our warehouse, operations, and team performance. This role requires a mature leader with excellent communication skills, strong operational discipline, and a proven track record of running a high-performance warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Operations Management

  • Oversee, manage, and optimise all warehouse and operational workflows.
  • Implement and maintain SOPs, processes, and efficiency systems across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Identify and resolve operational delays to improve accuracy, speed, and quality.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations with complete accountability.

Team Management & Communication

  • Lead, train, and manage the warehouse team with clear expectations and structured accountability.
  • Conduct ongoing performance monitoring, coaching, and skills development.
  • Foster a disciplined, organised, and positive team culture.
  • Communicate effectively with sales, admin, logistics, and management.

Product Quality Control

  • Maintain strict standards for product handling, packing, and order accuracy.
  • Ensure all orders are dispatched correctly, on time, and in perfect condition.
  • Monitor product returns, damages, and implement corrective actions.

Stock Control

  • Oversee stock integrity through weekly cycle counts, monthly stock takes, and ongoing reconciliation.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, binning, and system recording of all items.
  • Reduce stock loss through strong controls and accountability.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify, manage, and mitigate operational risks.
  • Ensure warehouse safety, security, and compliance with all regulations.
  • Manage incident reporting, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in warehouse management, operations management, or a similar leadership role — non-negotiable.
  • Strong and verifiable references from previous employers.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality control.
  • Solid understanding of stock management systems and dispatch processes.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving ability.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Computer literate (Excel/Google Sheets required; warehouse systems advantageous).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R25 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
