Retail Business Development Manager
will be focused on driving net inflows from Independent Financial Advisors (IFA) into the firm's products.

Opportunities in: Cape Town, Pretoria, Durban

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing interaction with IFAs to drive net flows to the firm's funds and to retain existing asset base
  • Promotion of the firm's brand and partner funds to advisors and LISPs
  • Ensuring access on LISPs and facilitating the flows into the funds
  • Monitoring of fund flows with the use of Coruscate (or similar)
  • Maintaining a strong level of technical knowledge of the firm's funds and business

Requirements

  • Minimum of BCom graduate or similar qualification
  • 3+ years in a BDM role with research and/or financial sales related experience (preferably in asset management)
  • Professional Qualification eg CFA, CAIA, CA (preferable)
  • Strong numerate skills
  • Established contact list of IFAs (preferable)
  • Excellent capital markets general knowledge
  • A demonstrable track record of investment acumen
  • Professional with a strong work ethic
  • Knowledge and insights gained from industry research and analysis of portfolios (advantageous)
