How you'll role

The Senior Internal Sales Representative will be responsible for managing customer interactions, processing orders, and ensuring exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This role requires strong communication skills and product knowledge, with a primary focus on maintaining robust customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

What you'll do

  • Handle customer inquiries via telephone and email, providing professional and prompt quotations
  • Accurately process customer purchase orders and communicate special instructions with customers and relevant departments
  • Keep customers informed about their quotations and order statuses, proactively addressing issues
  • Conduct regular courtesy calls to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Address customer complaints calmly and professionally, involving management when necessary
  • Provide basic product advice to customers
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Participate in product training sessions to stay updated on new offerings

What you'll need

  • 2-5 years of experience in internal sales, preferably within the bearing and power transmission industry
  • Background in sales and customer service
  • Matric certificate required
  • Computer literacy in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) essential
  • Fluency in Afrikaans preferred; additional language skills valued
