SENIOR NEW BUSINESS SALES EXECUTIVES - JHB

Essential Criteria

  • Matric
  • Freight and Logistics Industry experience is COMPULSORY
  • Successful achievement of Targets and Sales Experience of at least 3 years within in the Industry COMPULSORY
  • Tertiary Education - Marketing and Sales related
  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
  • Solid team player
  • Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with clients and staff
  • Proven administrative ability
  • Ability to work on own initiative, prioritize work and handle pressure
  • Ability to develop, monitor and maintain client information systems and procedure
  • Able to communicate effectively in person, in writing and over the telephone with individuals and with a wide variety of organizations and audience and to research, analyze and interpret complex information and produce clear verbal and written reports
  • Ability to contribute to the team

Personal Criteria

New Business development

  • Prospecting for new business by cold calling and conducting progress visits to potential clients
  • Preparing and presenting business proposals
  • Conducting follow ups on client proposal submitted
  • Monitoring all client applications, submitted for approval

Retention and Servicing

  • Conducting regular client visits
  • Maximizing client sales extensions
  • Detecting client sales volume deterioration and applying corrective measures
  • Building client relationships
