Quality Control Analyst

What are we looking for?
We're looking for Quality Control Analyst at Solevo Group. You'll play a key role in ensuring product quality through testing, reporting, and continuous improvement in a collaborative environment. If you have a National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry and a passion for precision, we'd love to hear from you.

What do we expect from the candidate?
We're looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in analytical chemistry and a keen eye for detail. You should be able to perform accurate laboratory tests, interpret results, and maintain precise documentation while adhering to safety and quality standards. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

The Key Responsibilities

• Prepare varying samples for sales and customers.
• Physical testing of specific gravity, viscosity and etc as required.
• File and scan testing reports into the system.
• Develop monthly reports on all conducted tests.
• Ensure all quality instruments and equipment are calibrated and verified within scheduled frequencies.
• Assist in the investigation of all product non-conformances and give reports.
• Continuously develop and improve inhouse blends to expand product line and improve quality.
• QC products upon delivery and before dispatch.
• Draw and test samples on bulk tankers upon delivery.
• Research new product formulations.
• Random sample packed products.
• Update Technical data sheets and Safety data sheets on the common drive.
• Give recommendations and advise on quality aspects.
• Manage good and safe housekeeping within the work area/lab.
• Ensure the correct PPE is worn.
• Follow all stipulated rules, SOP, and regulations of the company including the OHS Act.
• Follow all ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 standards.
• Work safely and adhere to company policies.
• Liaise with production and give support and assistance as may be related to quality and product.

• 1-2 years' related work experience
• National Diploma Analytical Chemistry.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent computer literacy skills
• Clear understanding of laboratory environment.
• Computer literate.
