About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for
administering, maintaining, and controlling technical drawings and engineering documentation
, ensuring all information is accurate, accessible, and compliant with legal and corporate standards.

You'll play a key role in supporting engineering, maintenance, and project teams by maintaining the integrity of technical documentation and improving document management systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and control the
    Technical Drawing Register
    and document management systems.
  • Ensure legal compliance by updating
    exemptions, permissions, and appointment documentation
    .
  • Manage and maintain project documentation databases and
    SharePoint
    access.
  • Support project close-out processes by ensuring
    as-built documentation
    is complete.
  • Administer and update the
    Engineering intranet webpage
    and controlled documentation.
  • Provide general administrative and reporting support to the Engineering Department.
  • Promote a culture of
    safety, compliance, and operational excellence
    .


Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • 5+ years' experience
    in document control or administration within a technical or engineering environment
  • Experience with
    AutoCAD
    ,
    SharePoint
    , and
    webpage development
  • Advanced computer literacy (
    MS Office Suite
    ,
    SAP
    )
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Valid
    EB driver's licence

Additional office administration training will be an advantage.
