Production Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily production schedules to meet targets.
  • Oversee production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Manage and supervise a team of general workers, ensuring high performance and accountability.
  • Enforce health and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment at all times.
  • Monitor production outputs and implement quality control procedures to maintain product standards.
  • Assess project and resource requirements, and coordinate with relevant departments.
  • Liaise with other managers to set production objectives and resolve operational challenges.
  • Organize repairs and routine maintenance of production equipment.
  • Identify training needs and arrange relevant staff development programs.
  • Continuously improve production processes for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for production staff and provide feedback.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum of 7 – 10 years' proven experience in a production management role.
  • Previous experience in the
    food industry
    is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge of production processes and quality control standards.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop production teams.
  • Experience in planning production schedules, resource allocation, and staff management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
