What will you bring:
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Experience within the Facilities Management field is preferable
  • Experience in Administration and handling of procedures relating to issuing, receiving and handling of goods

Skills required:
  • Administration skills
  • Attention to detail skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Client service orientated
  • Computer literacy (MS Office- Word, Excel)

Knowledge:

  • Company systems and procedures
  • Client systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures relating to issuing, receiving and handling of goods.
  • Courier Operations knowledge
  • Mail Sorting and Distribution Processes.
  • Operating of Loading Bay Equipment (Pallet Jacks/Electric Jack).

 Interface / Relationships With:

  • Internal: Clients, Supply Store Staff, Mailroom staff, Procurement team, Loading Zone staff
  • External: Client, Suppliers, Service providers, Couriers

What will you be doing:

Loading Zone Activities:

  • Handle all Loading Bay in & outgoing Activities daily.
  • Control Loading Bay items as requested by Sanlam Security SOP's.
  • Sorting all Loading Bay items.
  • Receiving of goods from various suppliers.

Supplies and Mail:

  • Receiving all the supplies / mail in the Loading Bay from different
  • Service Providers.
  • Record all mail / supplies
  • Issuing of Sanlam staff personal courier items.

Holding Areas Management:

  • Ensure that holding areas are clean and tidy
  • Ensure that all parcels is sent to clients timeously.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are kept

Ad hoc:

  • Complete ad hoc requests by management and the client to assist with the successful delivery of an integrated Facilities Management solution to the client in line with the Service Level Agreement.
