About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Specialist: IT Configuration to design and implement integrated configuration management solutions across multiple applications and teams. This role translates complex business needs into precise technical specifications and ensures seamless integration of new and existing systems. You will collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure new applications and modify existing ones across the value chain.
  • Ensure seamless integration and conduct testing, training, and support.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Adhere to SDLC, release methodologies, and IT governance standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
  • Optimise system configurations for performance and compliance.
  • Support risk management, change management, and process improvements.
  • Document solutions and contribute to organisational knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: First Degree in Information Technology (Required).

Experience:

  • 6+ years in IT, with a minimum of 4 years in Compass Configuration and Business Analysis.
  • Strong understanding of configuration management tools and methodologies (ITIL).
  • Ability to develop in COBOL and SQL (Advantageous)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
