Senior Paid Ads Strategist required in Stellenbosch.

Are you an experienced Paid Ads specialist with minimum five years experience? Our client based in Stellenbosch, has a hybrid position available (2 days in office, 2 days remote) which requires your Google Ads certification, strong skills in GTM, GA4, and campaign optimisation.

This post needs a strong independent specialist who is an excellent with implementation, working with several clients simultaneously, managing & optimising multi-platform campaigns, analyse data, working closely with their highly creative team. If you are passionate about travel and Africa's tourism industry, you will love this challenge

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an agency role focused on Paid Ads or Performance Marketing
  • Google Ads Certified with advanced knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4, and campaign optimization
  • Strong technical confidence and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret data and strategy clearly
  • Self-managed, focused, and structured approach to work
  • Demonstrated long-term commitment in previous roles
  • Passion for travel, nature, and Africa's tourism industry

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize paid ad campaigns across Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and display networks
  • Set up and manage tracking and analytics (GTM, GA4, UTM links) to ensure accurate, actionable insights
  • Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to align performance marketing with storytelling objectives
  • Build and interpret KPI dashboards to drive continuous testing and improvement of ROI
  • Support marketing automation setup, including CRM triggers and Mailchimp sequences
  • Produce transparent, clear reporting and bring consistent accountability to campaign cycles
  • Manage and juggle the workload capacity
