SACAP is looking for a Learning Technology Manager.

The Learning Technology Manager will lead the management, implementation, and optimization of learning technologies within the institution. This role ensures that the institution’s digital tools effectively support teaching, learning, and assessment, enabling a forward-thinking approach to educational innovation.

The Learning Technology Manager holds a strategic leadership position, overseeing complex cross-departmental initiatives and aligning technology integration with institutional goals. The manager supervises a team, including Learning Technologists, to deliver impactful solutions that enhance teaching and learning. By engaging with stakeholders across faculty, administration, and external partners, this role ensures seamless collaboration and alignment with best practices in digital education.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in educational technology, Learning Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A postgraduate qualification (e.g., Master’s degree) is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least **5 years of experience** in managing learning technologies within an educational or similar environment.
- Proven track record of **managing cross-departmental projects** and leading teams.
- Demonstrated experience in **implementing and optimising digital tools**, including AI-enabled technologies.
- Hands-on experience with **training and capacity building** for educators or staff.
- Familiarity with **strategic planning** and aligning technology initiatives with organisational objectives.

- Strong knowledge of LMS administration and related tools.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data and make data-driven decisions.

The Learning Technology Manager will report directly to the Head of Learning Innovation.

Mondays to Thursdays: 08:00am to 16:30pm
