Part-time Administrative Officer

Duties/Pligte- Bied administratiewe en sekretariële steun aan Suid-Afrikaanse medewerkers in die IRTG;- Hulpverlening met kommunikasie in die IRTG, insluitend kommunikasie met die media;- Voorbereiding en bestuur van korrespondensie, verslae en ander dokumente vir die IRTG (SA);- Opstel en instandhouding van liassering-stelsels, databasisse en e-pos-verspreidingslyste;- Finansiële administrasie (insluitend die skep van rekwisisies op die US se finansiële stelsel);- Tref reis
- en verblyfreëlings wat verband hou met die IRTG (SA) se bedrywighede;- Professionele skakeling met interne en eksterne belanghebbendes;- Hulpverlening met koördinasie en logistieke reëlings van geleenthede, insluitend belangrike lesings, werkgroepe en konferensies;- Basiese navorsing (internet-soektogte en voorbereiding van inligtingnotas) soos versoek;- Bestuur van dagboeke;- Afhandeling van ad hoc-take soos nodig;- Verrigting van ander pligte soos toegeken deur die IRTG (SA).Providing administrative and secretarial support for South African collaborators within the IRTG;- Assisting with communication within the IRTG, including communication with the media;- Preparing and managing correspondence, reports and other documents for the IRTG (SA);-
- Financial administration (including capturing requisitions on SU's financial system);- Making travel and accommodation arrangements relating to IRTG (SA) activities;- Professional liaising with internal and external stakeholders;- Assisting with event coordination and logistics, including high profile lectures, workshops and conferences;- Basic research work (internet searches and preparation of briefing notes) upon request;- Managing diaries;- Completing ad hoc tasks where necessary;- Performing such other duties as assigned by the IRTG (SA).
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes- Toepaslike na-skoolse kwalifikasie;- Minstens vyf jaar se toepaslike werkservaring;- Uitstekende mondelinge en skriftelike Engelse kommunikasievaardighede, en die vermoë om effektief in 'n veeltalige omgewing te funksioneer;- Bewese kennis van die US se finansiële stelsel;- Bewese vermoë om op eie inisiatief te werk, onafhanklik of as deel van 'n span;- Gesonde interpersoonlike vaardighede;- Effektiewe organisatoriese vaardighede;- Rekenaargeletterdheid in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint en Outlook) en Moodle omgewings;- Die vermoë om 'n professionele en vriendelike diens onder druk en, indien nodig, na ure te lewer;- Bereidwilligheid en beskikbaarheid om per geleentheid vir IRTG sake te reis;- 'n Positiewe houding teenoor studente, kliënte en kollegas.Relevant post-matric qualification;- At least five years's appropriate work experience;- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, and the ability to function effectively in a multilingual environment;- Demonstrable knowledge of SU
