Duties/Pligte
- Providing general administrative support to the Head of the Division, as well as to academic and support staff;
- Compiling and editing correspondence, reports and other forms of communication;
- Filing documents, as well as entering data and maintaining databases (e.g., members lists, distribution and contact lists);
- Maintaining and supporting the Division's social media platforms, website and marketing materials;
- Preparing agendas and minutes of the Division's meetings and committee meetings;
- Internal and external liaising and communication;
Managing the Head of the Division's diary through proper planning and scheduling;
- Arranging and scheduling meetings and academic events;
- Administrating the Division's research outputs;
- Ensuring office supplies are maintained;
- Preparing the facilities and arranging refreshments for academic events (guest lectures, visiting academia, etc.) if required.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Diploma in administrative management, or an equivalent qualification;
- At least three years' experience of administrative work in an academic environment;
- Proven ability to perform administrative tasks, including recordkeeping/filing;
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans;
- Proven excellence in basic computer technology and familiarity with MS Office (including MS Teams);
- An adequate level of computer skills to support marketing on social media platforms and to manage the Division's website.
