Bookkeeper and Administrator

**Purpose**:
Day to day management of the company Finance Department Cashbook and financial records, ensuring the financial records is accurate and complies with the organization’s internal standards and procedures, and Administration of debtor collection process including issuing of request for payment (follow up) letters to clients at set intervals, handover of defaulting clients to and liaison with debt
**Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Preparing cashbooks for bank account transactions
- Daily, monthly and annual bank reconciliations
- Preparing Credit Card and Petrol Card transaction journals
- Credit card and petrol card reconciliations
- Petty cash maintenance and reconciliation
- General ledger reconciliation
- Maintenance of finance filing system
- Generation of proforma client invoices
- Liaison with PMO regarding approval of proforma client invoices
- Issuing of request for payment letters to clients at set intervals depended on ageing of ebtors
- Handover of defaulting clients to debt collectors
- Administrative liaison with debt collectors
- Bank liaison
**Education and Experience**:
- 1 years debtor administration or 2 years general bookkeeping experience
- Completed degree or diploma in credit management or bookkeeping/accounting.
- Proficient in Excel and Pastel Accounting Software
- Knowledge of bookkeeping practices
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
