This role is responsible for leading and establishing, on-boarding and maintaining the procurement and payment guiding principles, policies and processes, including vendor selection and evaluation aspects, across the CCPB business. This would require working with the business in all P2P aspects to reduce procurement risks, optimise vendor relations, optimise procurement practices and advocate BBBEE procurement. This would involve analysis and TAR (Timely, Accurate and Relevant) reporting to support the business.

To ensure consistent P2P practices, reduce procurement risks, optimise vendor relations, optimise procurement practices, advocate BBBEE procurement, and safeguard CCPB’s interest in accordance with Prescribed Policy, standards and specifications, CCPB’s BBBEE, Procurement and levels of authority procedures and policies.
- Establish, implement and maintain Procurement Policy, Standards & Guidelines
- Manage Vendor Selection/Evaluation criteria (incl rationalise, optimise and BBBEE)
- Guide, influence and oversee Purchase Groups to ensure Compliance of processes to Transactional Purchasing
- Manage the Account Payable function
- Manage Group Buying
- Reporting, information and insights
- Lead People
- SHEQ Responsibilities

Skills, Experience & Education
- 3 year National Diploma, ppreferably in a business or commerce/ finance related field
- 3-5 years in an FMCG environment
- 5 years leading people
- 3-5 years in P2P role
- MS Office (Word and Power point - proficient, Excel - expert)
- ERP systems (proficient to expert)
- Valid Drivers License
- Business acumen
