Join our Projects Department as a HVAC Estimator and play a vital role in driving cost-effective project success. We’re looking for a dynamic individual to support our projects team and take the lead in creating accurate cost estimates for a variety of HVAC installations and upgrades.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)**

What you can expect to do in your role as **Project Estimator**:

- Analyse blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Perform site visits to gather data and assess project requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for material and labor pricing.
- Prepare detailed bids, material take-offs, and cost breakdowns.
- Work closely with the engineering and project management teams to align project goals with estimates.
- Assist in managing project timelines and budgets.
- Create costs estimates for specific parts of a project
- Create detailed estimates
- Regularly refine estimation techniques to ensure cost efficiency.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**

**Experience**:

- 3 - 5 years estimating experience as Estimator within a project environment
- 5 - 10 years working experience within an HVAC Environment
- Strong experience presenting to stakeholders
- Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 / Matric (mandatory)
- Valid Driver’s Licence (compulsory) older than 1 year
- BTech / National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, or other IT frameworks (mandatory).

- Familiarity with construction practices, building codes, and industry standards
- Proficiency in estimation tools like AutoCad and Microsoft Excel.

- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on cost optimisation

**Other Mandatory Requirements**
- Must Reside in Cape Town - relocation at own costs
- Must be available immediately
- Meet minimum requirements above
