**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**

As a **Mechanical Draughtsman**, your work will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of our HVAC projects. Expect to:

- ** Develop Detailed Technical Drawings** - Use CAD software to create **precise schematics, layouts, and component designs** for HVAC systems.
- ** Collaborate with Stakeholders** - Work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to **understand design requirements**.
- ** Site Visits & Drawing Mark-ups** - Attend **ad-hoc site briefings**, revise drawings, and complete final **As-Builts**.
- ** Ensure Compliance** - Review and adjust drawings to align with **building codes, industry standards, and project specifications**.
- ** Resolve Design Issues** - Coordinate with the project team to **identify and solve technical challenges**.
- ** Project Documentation** - Assist in **material take-offs, equipment schedules, and maintaining records** of all drawing revisions.
- ** Stay Updated** - Keep up with **new technologies, industry trends, and best practices** in HVAC design.
- ** Meet Deadlines** - Ensure all deliverables are completed **on time** and **to specification**..

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 - 5 years of hands-on industry experience as Draughtsman within the HVAC field (compulsory).

**Qualifications**:

- Matric / Grade 12 / National Certificate or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License older than 12 months (essential for site visits)
- Autodesk / AutoCad / Revit Certification (mandatory)
- Project Management Certificate or Programme (advantageous)
