Dynamic blue-chip, JSE listed concern based in Maitland has an opportunity for an experienced HR and Transformation Manager to fill the role at a Business Unit Level. Large staff compliment within the organisation. Previous experience at a high level in BBBEE Scorecarding as well as a proven track record in transformation. HR Qualification essential. Sage300 People is essential.

**Operations**
To build good relations at Management and Staff levels

Ensure that Branch visits are done on a regular basis

Ensure employee matters are timeously addressed and escalated

Assist with the training and development of staff towards appropriate interventions

Understand B-BBEE and Employment Equity legislation and the practical implementation thereof

Ensure employee records are maintained with relevant and update to date information

Ensure policies are applied consistently and fairly across the company

**Transformation**
Plan, co-ordinate and execute the transformation strategy for all business units

Collate information from various stakeholders to periodically report on transformation

Monitor, compare and comment on the various elements on a quarterly basis encompassing the implementation and achievement of transformation milestones

Perform gap analyses and advise the various departments on improvements and corrective actions to take to achieve transformation milestones

Ensure the efficient achievement of transformation goals are kept within budget and maximized through subsidies, grants, and other legislated benefits

Ensure Legislative and internal compliance with BBBEE Act and Codes, including BEE Scorecard

Monitor transformation and BBBEE legislative changes and updates

Ensure audit and verification processes of Company’s BBBEE contributions and compliance are successfully conducted timeously on an annual basis

**Human Capital**
Monitor, guide and measure the operations of the Human Resources department

Ensure service levels are maintained and improved through best practise

Improve administrative workflow to maintain service and grow efficiency

Monitor and verify statistics, demographics and reports on a periodic basis

Ensure the HRIS is maintained with a logical and efficient dataset

Continuously manage projects and change initiatives in the organisation at various occupational levels

Ensure all legislative and mandatory reporting and conformance are adhered to and submitted timeously with accurate data

Advise senior management on best practise and conformance in terms of legal aspects of labour

Build and maintain working relationships between Human Resources and all internal stakeholders

**Recruitment and Selection**
Monitor, organise and execute all transactional recruitment processes required to meet timely completion and delivery of recruitment processes

Ensure all necessary pre-employment checks are in place (e.g. reference checks)

Respond to queries related to the recruitment process timeously

**Employee Engagement**
Facilitate the pre-boarding/ induction process for new staff

Ensure engagement packs for all new staff are prepared within agreed timelines and processed accordingly

Responsible for the submission of correct and complete paperwork to the payroll department to facilitate the employment of new staff

Ensure that job descriptions are in line with the employee roles

Ensure job titles are in line with existing group job titles

Assist with change management on projects as required

Providing support to management in respect of succession planning

**Employee movements**
Ensure all employees movements are tracked and the necessary paperwork is completed

**Industrial Relations**
Assist with basic industrial relations matters before escalating to Human Capital and IR manager

Counsel employees on the advice of the Human Capital and IR Manager

Advise employees and managers on grievance processes and procedures

**Data Management**
Ensure the smooth running of HR workflow from entry to termination

Provide first level HR support by answering questions and requests to internal customers Ensure data integrity and seek to resolve queries timeously and accurately

**General Administration**
Ensure that all workflow and work procedures are documented, and that appropriate audits are conducted to ensure data management integrity

Act as HR interface with Head Office

Create and maintain an accurate filing system for all required HR documents

**Reporting**
Assist with Employment Equity statistics and reporting

Assisting with consolidation and preparation of data and information as and when required for purposes of B-BBEE verification and Transformation reporting, labour audits and ad-hoc monthly reporting

**Experience**
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Transformation role

Extensive experience with the BEE Scorecard requirements mandatory
