**About the team**:
Luno is a market leading crypto exchange on a mission to put the power of crypto into everyone's hands. You will report into Melissa's Group Tax Team, forming part of the Finance team, based in Cape Town. This is an amazing opportunity to join a talented and collaborative Tax Team.

**The role in a nutshell**:

- Take responsibility for transfer pricing and international tax aspects of the multinational group to ensure compliance with existing laws and regulations and a proactive response to new developments.

**Your mission will be**:
Responsible for all transfer pricing matters of the multinational group, including:

- Maintaining and updating the Group's transfer pricing policies, documentation thereof, intercompany agreements and related services schedules;
- Performing transfer pricing calculations, maintaining intercompany trial balance accounts and reviewing related party disclosures for inclusion in the annual financial statements;
- Liaising with and providing support to external auditors to ensure that the transfer pricing policies are understood and appropriately and timeously concluded on as part of the annual audit process;
- Preparing and submitting transfer pricing returns and documentation and providing input into the Ultimate Parent Entity's country-by-country report; and
- Liaising with revenue authorities on queries and audits relating to transfer pricing.

Responsible for all transfer pricing matters of the multinational group, including:

- Managing group restructure transactions;
- Performing UK controlled foreign company assessments and calculations;
- Researching and responding to international tax developments (e.g. Pillar 2); and
- Providing input into the Group's treatment in the Ultimate Parent Entity's US tax returns.

Other responsibilities include:

- Assessing and communicating the transfer pricing and international tax implications of new products;
- Assisting with FATCA and CRS compliance matters;
- Educating the broader Finance team and business on relevant transfer pricing and international tax matters; and
- Assisting with the Group's tax compliance generally.

**A little about you**:

- Postgraduate qualification in Taxation or CA (SA).
- Minimum of 5 years transfer pricing and international tax experience in a multinational company or in consulting.
- Advanced excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Practical, problem solving mindset - able to make decisions to manage risk.
- The ability to build strong, mutually respectful relationships with diverse teams, and to deal with multiple different teams, countries and issues on any given day.
- Desirable experience: Transfer pricing and international tax experience in South Africa, Malaysia, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Indonesia and Australia.
